COMMITTEES AND WORKING GROUPS
MOGA’s work is undertaken in the main by a range of committees, sub-committees and working groups and all members can participate in their work via calls for Expressions of Interest. The MOGA Executive approves the formation of each group providing it aligns with MOGA’s interests and objectives. Each Committee and Working Group has agreed objectives and terms of reference; and the chairs report to the Executive.

MOGA EXECUTIVE
MOGA is governed by an elected Executive Committee, appointed by the membership in keeping with the Association's Constitution. The Executive oversees the Assocation’s operational, financial, marketing, and human resources management.
TRAINEES
There are State Trainee Committees in NSW (includes Tasmania) and Victoria with informal networks in other states and territories. These groups organise independent programs but also work collaboratively with the National Trainee and State representatives to develop Trainee activities.
YOUNG ONCOLOGISTS
The Young Oncologists Group of Australia (YOGA) aims to provide young medical oncologists (within five year of receipt of Fellowship) with a networking framework, support and assistance to facilitate their transition from advanced trainee to consultant through education and professional development opportunities.
MEDICAL ETHICS
Ethical issues impact on all areas of our professional activities from dealings with industry, day to day patient care through to personal, professional views on complex issues such as voluntary assisted dying. The aim of this Sub-Committee is to improve outcomes for patients and clinicians through the application of ethical principles to oncology issues affecting clinical practice, research and education.
